First, we will need to collect the original Bill of Lading from you. If the original is not available, we can also receive a surrendered copy from the Shipping Company via email. If providing us with the original B/L, we will keep the 'first original' and stamp & sign the 'second original' to return to you. This crucial step ensures that we can act on your behalf efficiently.
Landing Fee and Brokerage Services: Tailored to Your Needs
We require a landing fee of $340.00 (VAT Incl), after which you can decide to leverage our comprehensive brokerage services. We offer two primary services tailored to meet diverse needs and budgets:
- Full Clearance Service: Ideal for clients seeking an all-encompassing solution. This service includes accurate duty calculation, payment of customs duties, complete handling of documentation, and ensuring your vehicle is ready for pickup. We offer two convenient options:
- Arawak Cay Collection: For a service fee of $150.00 (VAT Incl), we handle everything, and you collect your vehicle directly from Arawak Cay.
- Vehicle Delivery to Mailboat: Specifically designed for our family island customers, this option, for a service fee of $330.00 (VAT Incl), ensures your vehicle is delivered directly to the Mailboat, ready for shipment to your location. It is worth noting that we can also pre-pay the mailboat freight on your behalf, which will be added to the standard $330.00 service fee, or you can choose to pay the Mailboat charge yourself upon vehicle collection. We cater to your convenience and preferences!
- Submission Only Service: Perfect for clients who prefer a more hands-on approach. For a fee of $60.00 (VAT Incl), we submit the entry into the Bahamas Customs shared database, and you manage the remaining import and clearance process.
